About The Position
Caring Heart Home Care is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Caregiver to support seniors and people with disabilities in their homes. The role focuses on improving clients’ quality of life through personal care, household assistance, medication dispensing, errands, and companionship. Caregivers provide practical assistance as well as emotional support, following individualized care plans and applicable health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mandarin-speaking caregiver.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills.
- Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Be compassionate, respectful, and ethical.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing.
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises.
- Prepare meals and snacks.
- Perform light housekeeping activities.
- Dispense medication.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with errands and shopping.
