About The Position

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a licensed clinical professional—LCSW, LMFT, or LPC—to join its Blended Mobile Crisis team in Georgia Region 5. Clinicians are dispatched into the community to respond to behavioral health crisis calls and provide support to individuals experiencing a crisis. The role provides crisis support, supervision to staff during responses, and assistance connecting individuals with recommended services. Benchmark provides thorough training. The position is salaried with no billable hours and follows a schedule of seven days on and seven days off, from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Willingness to flex the schedule as needed to provide services, supports, care, and treatment.
Experience and competence in the profession, and maintenance of applicable licenses, training, and certifications.

Responsibilities

Act as the onsite crisis team leader.
Respond immediately when dispatched to a crisis response and be present to supervise staff.
Follow up with an individual's IDT to ensure adherence to crisis-service-recommended supports and services.
Assist in providing information to the mobile crisis team.
Facilitate referrals quickly to prevent escalation of a crisis.
Establish and maintain record-keeping functions, including integration with the CIS system.
Complete documentation necessary to facilitate reimbursement through primary funding sources.
Develop and implement safety plans as appropriate.
Report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to a supervisor or department head.
Develop a discharge plan detailing the discontinuation of crisis support services.
Provide support to clients and staff working in the Georgia Mobile Crisis Support Program.
