About The Position

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join its Blended Mobile Crisis team in Region 5 of Georgia. Clinicians are dispatched into the community to support individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. The position provides crisis support services and includes thorough training. This is a salaried position with no billable hours, scheduled for seven days on and seven days off, from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Willingness to flex the schedule as needed to provide services, supports, care, and treatment to individuals.
Experience and competence in the profession.
Maintain any applicable license, training, or certifications.

Responsibilities

Act as the onsite crisis team leader.
Respond immediately when dispatched to crisis responses and be present to provide supervision to staff.
Follow up with the individual's IDT to help ensure adherence to crisis-service-recommended supports and services.
Assist in providing information to the mobile crisis team.
Facilitate referrals quickly to prevent escalation of a crisis.
Establish and maintain record-keeping functions, including integration with the CIS system.
Complete documentation necessary to facilitate reimbursement through primary funding sources.
Develop and implement safety plans as appropriate.
Report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to a supervisor or department head.
Develop a discharge plan detailing the discontinuation of crisis support services.
Provide support to clients and staff working in the Georgia Mobile Crisis Support Program.
