About The Position

Under general direction, provides comprehensive strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for the North Las Vegas Library District’s development function. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Friends of the North Las Vegas Library District (FRIENDS), grants management, volunteer programs, and bookstore management. Oversees and manages the delivery of services pertaining to the District’s development initiatives, fosters community relationships, and exercises oversight of District-wide partnerships, projects, programs, and committees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or closely related field.
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative level experience in program support, grant-writing, non-profit management and/or non-profit bookkeeping.
  • Two (2) years of experience overseeing program operations.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Nevada state driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
  • Seven (7) years of combined education, training, and experience demonstrating the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position (Equivalency).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Public or Business Administration is desired.
  • Public agency experience preferred.
  • Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) is desired.

Benefits

  • The salary range for the position is $74,816.48 - $120,012.89.
  • Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
