About The Position

This role serves as a liaison between guests, staff, and patients, addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving concerns. The position is responsible for managing incoming communications, handling guest feedback, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and identifying safety or maintenance issues. The goal is to enhance patient satisfaction by proactively anticipating and resolving family needs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between guests, staff and patients to respond to patient and guest information inquiries.
  • Receive, screen, route and/or respond to all incoming inquiries for information, directions or concerns.
  • Receive guest suggestions and complaints and escalate through proper channels.
  • Provide patient information in compliance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and organizational privacy policies.
  • Identify and report issues of safety and maintenance.
  • Assist in improving patient satisfaction while keeping volunteer office management informed of potential problems.
  • Anticipate family's needs and resolve issues before they become major source of concern.
