Requirements

College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, or five years of equivalent work experience.

MSP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to service desk requests received by telephone, web portal, and email, providing courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues.
Provision systems and set up equipment for new hires.
Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes and service-level agreements.
Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve support requests.
Perform hands-on desktop fixes when remote tools are unsuitable, including hardware repairs and delivery of peripherals.
Install and configure hardware and software components across network infrastructure devices.
Install antivirus software and keep virus definitions up to date.
Administer servers using Active Directory, File and Print services, DNS, and DHCP.
Administer and maintain network firewalls and switches.
Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning workstations, printers, and peripherals.
Establish good relationships with departments and colleagues.
Ensure company safety and security standards are met.
Design and architect network and server solutions.
