About The Position

The Lessons Lead helps deliver a positive experience for Guitar Center customers and students by selling lesson and rehearsal packages, answering questions, and providing tours of the Lessons facility. The role focuses on growing the lesson program, coordinating instructor and student schedules, maintaining curriculum sales, and ensuring facility systems and schedules operate effectively. The position also involves guiding instructors and supporting a positive experience for parents and students.

Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant work experience in musical instruction, administration, or non-instructional retail.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and connect with customers.
Ability to communicate clearly, positively, and courteously with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lead, manage, and mentor others, provide feedback, and manage a geographically dispersed team.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree.
Skilled understanding of Guitar Center retail systems and processes.

Responsibilities

Increase student enrollment in the lesson program by driving and maintaining sales and promotional programs.
Sell rehearsal space.
Communicate with parents and students to ensure a positive overall experience.
Guide instructors, their teaching and non-teaching schedules, and students by coordinating lesson schedules with instructor availability.
Maintain and increase curriculum sales.
Ensure systems are functioning properly.
Maintain lesson and rehearsal schedules for the facility.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
