About The Position

ABC Legal Service is the national leader in service of process, with a team of 1000 employees and offices across the US. This Phoenix-based, in-office role focuses exclusively on supporting Arizona court operations. The Court Support Specialist partners closely with Arizona courts and legal court runners to ensure court filings are received, processed, and accurately uploaded into our proprietary system in a timely manner. This role requires frequent professional communication with court personnel and internal teams, demanding strong attention to detail when preparing legal paperwork, tracking document retrievals, and processing court records. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing high-volume court tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a 100% onsite role in our Phoenix office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED required
  • 1+ years of customer support / call-center / retail experience in a service-oriented position
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
  • Comfortable using Teams/Zoom for outbound calls and chats, and Outlook for emails.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) and online fax
  • Experience working with and editing PDFs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive data-entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Quick learner and willing to learn and grow within the legal support field

Responsibilities

  • Contact Arizona courts for individual orders and status updates, resolving issues related to legal filings and retrievals.
  • Prepare paperwork and ensure proper court fees are included for document retrieval and submissions.
  • Process, review, and organize retrieved copies from court, ensuring accurate data entry into internal systems.
  • Work directly with court runners to navigate court timeframes, requirements, and troubleshoot delays.
  • Navigate and interpret Arizona court dockets and websites to locate case documents and filing information.
  • Communicate accurately via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams with court personnel, runners, and attorneys.
  • Utilize Skye (in-house application) to track document progress, add detailed case notes, and maintain high accuracy.
  • Manage incoming/outgoing calls related to document statuses and relay updates to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the court document lifecycle.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
