Legal Intake Representative - NRH
About The Position
Legal Intake Professionals (LIP) partners with law firms nationwide to provide empathetic, high-touch client intake services. Legal Intake Representatives are the first point of contact for potential clients seeking legal assistance, often during difficult or pivotal moments. They handle a high volume of inbound inquiries with warmth, professionalism, composure, and attention to detail. Representatives listen actively, gather critical information, document inquiries, and route them to the appropriate department. This is an in-office position in North Richland Hills, Texas, with various full-time and part-time shifts available between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. CST. Training is full-time for two to three weeks, from either 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST. Compensation is $17 per hour for English-language representatives and $19 per hour for Spanish-language representatives.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong diction, flawless grammar, and precise spelling.
- A warm, professional manner that conveys empathy, active listening, and genuine care.
- Fast, accurate typing skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and basic office applications.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependable attendance.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Fluency in a second language, especially Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the professional initial point of contact for potential clients seeking legal assistance.
- Conduct empathetic and thorough conversations to gather context, missing details, and background information.
- Enter complex inquiries into intake management systems accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards for spelling, grammar, and detail.
- Manage phone calls and internal systems simultaneously and route inquiries to the correct department.
- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Arrive on time and be prepared for scheduled shifts to support clients and team members.
