About The Position

FluxCap is hiring a Legal Engineer to work with litigators and software engineers on how the company’s product helps lawyers build cases, initially in antitrust. The role brings legal judgment into product development by identifying what claims require, assessing whether evidence supports arguments, and explaining limitations in the software’s analysis. The Legal Engineer will also work directly with lawyers using FluxCap, learn how they approach cases, help them use the product, and share those insights with the team. The position combines substantive legal analysis with building and improving software; coding is not required, but comfort learning tools and working through problems with engineers is important.

Requirements

  • Legal training and experience doing substantive work in complex litigation.
  • Strong research and writing skills, with close attention to citations and what a source actually supports.
  • Ability to explain reasoning clearly to lawyers and engineers.
  • Comfort working through unfamiliar problems and revising an approach as new information is learned.
  • Curiosity about AI and an interest in improving how legal work gets done.
  • Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not currently available.
