About The Position
Legora is hiring a Legal Engineer Associate to work at the intersection of law, technology, and product. The role offers hands-on experience with AI in the legal industry and contributes to the development, testing, and adoption of Legora’s platform. The associate will work closely with Legal Engineers, Customer Success, and Product teams, supporting legal teams as they use the platform and helping improve how legal AI is deployed.
Requirements
- Completed J.D. required.
- At least 0 years of experience; trainee or paralegal experience is referenced.
- Interest in law and curiosity about technology, AI, product features, and workflow automation; willingness to experiment with prompt engineering.
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly translate between lawyers and technologists.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to evaluate outputs and identify where AI meets or misses the mark.
- Adaptable and proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment and with ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Support client-facing pilots, onboarding, and training to help legal teams get the most out of Legora.
- Design and evaluate use cases demonstrating the AI on legal tasks such as contract review, research, and drafting.
- Capture user insights and translate them into clear, actionable feedback for product improvements.
- Document best practices and contribute to internal playbooks for deploying legal AI at scale.
