About The Position

The Legal Content Specialist reviews AI-generated legal text, including simple contracts, privacy policies, and terms of service, to ensure it is clear, accurate, and understandable. The role serves as a common-sense check for legal AI by verifying basic details and rules, improving confusing language, categorizing documents, and checking compliance with project playbooks.

This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis through the TELUS Digital AI Community. Contributors can choose when and how much they work, subject to project availability and quality requirements. Applicants must pass a subject-specific qualification exam and complete ID verification. Pay rates currently range from $10 to $20 USD per hour, with payment terms defined for each project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Native-level proficiency in the contributor’s primary language and familiarity with legal documents in their country.
• B1 (intermediate) English proficiency to understand project instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, including care with fine print.
• Pass a subject-specific qualification exam and complete ID verification.

Responsibilities

• Fact-check names, dates, and basic laws relevant to the contributor’s country.
• Rewrite long or confusing sentences in clear, simple language.
• Categorize legal documents, such as identifying rental agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
• Check whether AI-generated content follows the applicable project playbook and its rules.
