About The Position
Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) seeks candidates committed to innovative teaching and meaningful service for a full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty position at the rank of lecturer in the Department of Management. This is a one-year temporary appointment that may be renewed annually based on funding, need, and performance. The successful candidate will teach courses in general management, leadership, conflict, change management, and ethics within the Department of Management and the interdisciplinary Applied Leadership Program. MTSU aims to attract a culturally and academically diverse faculty who value working with diverse students.
Requirements
- A master's degree in management or an MBA by the appointment date.
- Five (5) years of management experience by the appointment date.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or eligibility for U.S. employment.
Nice To Haves
- College teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in the Department of Management.
- Teach courses in the interdisciplinary Applied Leadership Program.
- Teach courses such as general management, leadership, conflict, change management, and ethics.
