About The Position

The Semester Lecturer is responsible for teaching undergraduate students in a course focused on law enforcement within environmental and natural resources management settings. The lecturer will provide instruction on legal authorities, regulatory compliance, natural resource protection, public safety, recreation area management, and the role of conservation and park officers. The successful candidate will create an engaging learning environment that prepares students for advanced training and careers in natural resource law enforcement and resource protection.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Environment and Natural Resources or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with approved course objectives and learning outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain course materials, assignments, assessments, and instructional content.
  • Facilitate classroom discussions and experiential learning activities related to natural resource law enforcement.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback on assignments and examinations.
  • Maintain regular communication with students and provide appropriate academic support.
  • Submit grades and required course documentation in accordance with university policies and deadlines.
  • Utilize the institution’s learning management system and other instructional technologies as appropriate.
  • Participate in department meetings and training related to instructional responsibilities when required.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies, accreditation standards, and academic integrity requirements.
