About The Position

Cornell College is seeking a Lecturer(s) in Kinesiology to teach introductory courses within its unique block schedule system. This position offers the opportunity to teach one course full-time during each four-week session. The college is looking for individuals who can potentially teach one, multiple, or all five of the listed courses. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Kinesiology or a closely related field.
  • Experience in teaching at the college level is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to teach one course full time during each of the four-week sessions.
  • Submission of a letter of application/cover letter.
  • Submission of a current Curriculum Vitae.
  • Submission of names and contact information for a minimum of two references.
  • Satisfactory completion of a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. in Kinesiology or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

  • Teach up to 5 sections of introductory Kinesiology courses.
  • Teach one course full-time during each of the four-week block sessions.
  • Develop and implement teaching strategies that capitalize on the distinctive academic calendar.
  • Potentially take students off-campus for course-related activities.
