About The Position
Teach 12 semester credit hours per semester. Courses can include, but not be limited to, General Botany, General Zoology, Biology for Majors I and II, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology and other freshman and sophomore level biology courses. Delivery of courses will be through face to face as well as distance delivery. Position is Security Sensitive. Nine month position, yearly contract, with summer teaching possible.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Biology or a related field.
- Experience in teaching biology courses at the freshman and sophomore level.
- Ability to teach General Botany, General Zoology, Biology for Majors I and II, Anatomy and Physiology, and Medical Terminology.
- Willingness to teach through both face-to-face and distance delivery methods.
Nice To Haves
- Ph.D. in Biology or a related field.
- Experience with online course development and delivery.
- Experience in a university environment.
