This is a part-time, temporary position for the Fall 2026 semester, serving as a lecturer candidate pool. Assignments will be made as needed, contingent upon funding, satisfactory performance, and actual staffing requirements. The role involves teaching assigned courses in Fire Science & Environmental Emergency Response, maintaining office hours, providing instruction to meet student learning objectives, preparing course syllabi and reports, and working collaboratively with the discipline coordinator/division chairperson. The position requires a commitment to community college principles and philosophy and may involve evening, weekend, on-campus, off-campus (military bases, secondary education sites), and distance learning assignments. This is not a remote position. Security clearance may be required for teaching on military bases, and background checks for Early College courses.
