About The Position

Gorman is hiring a full-time Leasing Specialist for Westside Commons, a 56-unit affordable housing community in Wausau, Wisconsin. The community works with LIHTC, AHP, and NHTF programs. The Leasing Specialist manages leasing activities, assists applicants with applications and program requirements, and collaborates with the property management team to provide responsive service to residents and prospective applicants.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of leasing, multifamily housing, sales, or customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service mindset and ability to connect with a wide variety of people.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Conduct community tours and provide personalized experiences to prospective residents.
• Build relationships with prospects, residents, vendors, and team members.
• Follow up with prospects and help convert leads into signed leases.
• Support outreach marketing, community networking, and competitor research.
• Assist with move-in and move-out processes.
• Answer calls, enter service requests, and maintain records.
• Support compliance processes and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
