About The Position

WRH Realty Services, LLC is hiring a Leasing Specialist for affordable housing at Lofts at San Marco East/Peyton Ridge. The role helps prospective residents find a home and supports the apartment community through tours, lease closings, resident service, marketing, and occupancy efforts. The Leasing Specialist communicates with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests; supports leasing and retention programs; and maintains accurate, confidential resident files and related reporting. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. The stated pay range is $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Sales and closing abilities, a cheerful attitude, and a customer-service focus.
• Competence using software applications and search engines to engage residents and prospects.
• Proficiency in creating social media content, generating business interest, enhancing product awareness, and expanding market reach.
• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Availability Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with affordable housing programs is a plus.
• Some college coursework is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests.
• Consistently and fairly enforce community rules and regulations, and comply with Fair Housing Laws.
• Assist residents with reporting maintenance needs.
• Maintain occupancy levels in line with owner or budget expectations.
• Use professional leasing techniques and help close leases.
• Assist with monthly market surveys.
• Assist with advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community as needed.
• Follow up with phone and walk-in traffic.
• Help ensure online marketing sources are updated.
• Promote positive resident-management relations and support retention of desirable residents.
• Assist with resident retention programs.
• Maintain appropriate resident files, including forms, leases, and documents, and protect their integrity and confidentiality.
• Ensure documents and reporting systems are maintained, updated, and organized.
