About The Position

Village Green is seeking a Leasing Sales Consultant to serve as a first point of contact for its apartment community at Steeplechase. The role facilitates apartment rentals and supports maximum occupancy by coordinating showings, lease negotiations and renewals, and move-ins and move-outs. The consultant works independently within established procedures, represents Village Green at external networking and social functions, and collaborates with the on-site team to review sales goals and strategies. The position also includes coaching and mentoring associates and following fair housing policies. It typically reports to the Property Manager.

The role is based in a fast-paced, professional, sales-driven environment where each day may differ. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required. Employment offers are contingent on required background checks; pre-employment drug testing is required, and Village Green participates in E-Verify.

Requirements

• Two years of sales or customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to current and future residents.
• High level of professionalism.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Successful completion of required background checks and pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate apartment rentals to help ensure maximum occupancy.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, lease negotiations and renewals, and apartment showings.
• Ensure paperwork for current and prospective tenants is completed accurately.
• Work independently within established procedures and apply competencies relevant to the Leasing Consultant role.
• Represent Village Green at outside networking and social functions.
• Conduct weekly sales meetings with the on-site team to review goals and strategies.
• Coach and mentor team associates.
• Adhere to established fair housing policies.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and help address current and future residents’ needs.
