About The Position

The Leasing Consultant supports the leasing operations and financial performance of an assigned MAA apartment community. The role interacts with prospective residents, communicates the value and overall experience of living at an MAA community, and secures lease agreements. The Leasing Consultant initiates screening of prospective residents, communicates lease expirations, facilitates lease renewals, and assists with property marketing activities and resident events.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
