About The Position

Gross Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to present apartments and community amenities to prospective residents. The role involves leasing vacant apartments, responding to inquiries, handling applications and lease paperwork, supporting resident relations, and coordinating service requests. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, professional presentation skills, strong computer and organizational skills, and customer-service abilities. Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience is desired, but training may be provided to the right candidate. The schedule varies and includes weekends and some holidays as required.

Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Customer service and conflict resolution skills to overcome objections and resolve issues.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills to maintain records and schedules.
Positive attitude and professional presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience is desired; training will be provided to the right candidate.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Lease vacant apartments to prospective residents by communicating the value of residency.
Provide prospective residents with information about community amenities.
Respond to phone and email inquiries from prospective residents.
Compile leasing paperwork accurately.
Process applications.
Explain leases and appropriate addenda to new residents.
Assist with resident relations.
Facilitate service requests and forward them to maintenance staff.
Adhere to a varied work schedule, including weekends and some holidays, as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
