About The Position

The Leasing Consultant promotes the apartment community by guiding prospective residents through the leasing process. This includes conducting community tours and responding to prospective residents’ questions about the community. The position is full-time, experienced level, and based at Woodland Heights in Atlanta, Georgia. The role is on the day shift, with negligible travel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated English literacy, including reading.
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and property management software such as One-Site or RealPage.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective residents to determine their needs and qualifications for renting in the community.
• Answer questions about the apartment community and provide callers with directions and other pertinent information.
• Retrieve voicemail messages and distribute them to the appropriate team member.
• Conduct property tours and follow up with prospects promptly in accordance with company policy.
• Inspect the property tour route daily to ensure cleanliness and curb appeal meet company standards.
• Prepare application packets and maintain an adequate supply on hand.
• Maintain knowledge of the apartment community and its amenities, and how it compares with other available rental properties in the area.
