About The Position

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is hiring a Leasing Associate for its Thalhimer Multifamily team at Marshall Springs at Gayton West in Glen Allen, Virginia. The role supports the community’s leasing and administrative functions, helps attract prospective residents, and provides service to current and prospective residents. The successful candidate is an engaging communicator who builds rapport, supports lease closings, stays organized and detail-oriented, and follows through so prospects feel welcome.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Dependability, flexibility, and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Passion for customer service and ability to relate to and engage with people.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with property management software.
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Strong sales instincts and ability to build rapport and close leases.

Nice To Haves

• MRI experience is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of the market and pride in professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in marketing efforts to attract prospective residents and promote the community’s features and benefits.
• Greet prospective residents and conduct tours of available apartments.
• Assist prospective residents with the application process.
• Support the Community Manager with administrative functions, including processing rent payments and maintaining community records.
• Provide prompt and professional customer service to current and prospective residents.
