About The Position

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is hiring a Leasing Associate for its Thalhimer Multifamily team at Marshall Springs at Gayton West in Glen Allen, Virginia. The role supports leasing and administrative functions and contributes to the success of the residential community. The ideal candidate is proactive, positive, dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment. Success involves engaging communication, building rapport, closing leases, understanding the market, presenting the community effectively, and following through so prospects feel at home.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Dependability and flexibility, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Passion for customer service and ability to relate to and engage with people.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with property management software.
• Strong communication, organizational, and sales skills, and the ability to build rapport and close leases.
• Understanding of the market and pride in professional presentation.

Nice To Haves

• MRI experience is preferred but not required.
• A genuine desire to make a difference in the community by delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Participate in marketing efforts to attract prospective residents and promote the community’s features and benefits.
• Greet prospective residents and conduct tours of available apartments.
• Assist prospective residents with the application process.
• Assist the Community Manager with administrative functions, including processing rent payments and maintaining community records.
• Provide prompt and professional customer service to current and prospective residents.
