About The Position

We are hiring a Leasing Agent at Fortiva Residential who is a people person, making every interaction warm, easy, and memorable. This role is the heartbeat of our community, often being the first smile a future resident sees and the friendly voice that makes someone feel at home. The ideal candidate genuinely loves people and gets excited about connecting them with a place they'll love living in. This is a lease-up situation at a Class C property that needs significant leasing activity, with a target of at least 32 leases to be signed. A leasing bonus of $75 is offered, plus an extra bonus when targets are met. The role involves responding to calls and emails, maintaining the appearance of the leasing office and model units, and utilizing software like AppFolio/Knock for accurate record-keeping. Staying informed about local market trends is also part of the job.

Requirements

• Love talking to people and genuinely enjoy helping them
• Have a knack for sales without feeling "salesy"
• Stay organized and follow through
• Pick up new software quickly and be comfortable with technology
• Be flexible and available when prospects need assistance
• Have some leasing or customer service experience (a plus)
• Know the basics of Fair Housing or be eager to learn
