About The Position

Banyan Living is seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to support residential leasing at Dover Farms Apartments. The role focuses on marketing the property, driving occupancy, and supporting resident satisfaction. The Leasing Agent will use residential leasing experience to qualify prospective residents, negotiate lease terms, prepare lease agreements, and provide excellent service to prospective and current residents. The position also includes collaborating with management on marketing strategies and providing mentorship or training to junior leasing staff as needed.

Requirements

At least 1 year of leasing experience in residential property management or a related field.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of leasing processes, property management systems, and Fair Housing regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated residential leasing experience and comprehensive knowledge of leasing procedures and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead property tours and presentations with professionalism and detailed knowledge of the community.
Process applications, conduct credit and background checks, and qualify prospective residents in compliance with Fair Housing laws.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and current residents to support retention and referrals.
Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategies that improve leasing performance and occupancy rates.
Prepare accurate lease agreements and ensure documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements.
Provide mentorship and training to junior leasing staff as needed.
