About The Position

Banyan Living is seeking an experienced Leasing Agent for Dover Farms Apartments to use residential leasing expertise to support occupancy and resident satisfaction. The role involves marketing the property, negotiating lease terms, and providing customer service to prospective and current residents. The ideal candidate has a proven residential leasing track record, comprehensive knowledge of leasing procedures and legal compliance, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build client relationships and deliver outstanding service. Prior experience mentoring or leading junior team members is a plus.

Requirements

At least 1 year of leasing experience in residential property management or a related field.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of leasing processes, property management systems, and Fair Housing regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Lead property tours and presentations, demonstrating detailed knowledge of the community.
Process applications, conduct credit and background checks, and qualify prospective residents in compliance with Fair Housing laws.
Build and maintain relationships with prospects and residents to encourage retention and referrals.
Collaborate with management on marketing strategies to improve leasing performance and occupancy.
Prepare accurate lease agreements and ensure documentation meets company policies and legal requirements.
Provide mentorship and training to junior leasing staff as needed.
