Learning Experience Designer

Contentful Learning Services is seeking a multi-talented learning design expert to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying learning outcomes, collaborating with stakeholders, designing and developing learning materials, and measuring the impact of these materials. They should have a bachelor's degree in a learning or technology-related field, at least 3 years of experience in instructional design, and a portfolio that demonstrates their ability to create engaging and innovative learning experiences. - Research how different Contentful users are leveraging the platform to identify learning outcomes and scope high-impact learning materials. - Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, fellow learning experience designers, learning services teammates, and subject matter experts to uncover business and learning needs. - Own the end-to-end design, development, and release of new learning materials (self-paced courses, videos, simulations, documents, job aids, etc.) for the Contentful Learning Center. - Design comprehension checks and assessment activities to gauge learners' ability to use Contentful software for real-world tasks. - Measure and analyze the impact of learning materials and continuously maintain and update content to better support business and learning goals. - Seek continuous improvement in operational excellence, scalability, efficiency, and learning effectiveness. - Turn over rocks to explore and discover new ideas and solutions. - Create engaging, interactive learning courses with assets such as videos, graphics, and diagrams. - Adapt and distill complex, technical topics into digestible and delightful learning experiences. - Guide large projects through various stages of development while meeting tight deadlines. - Utilize industry-standard learning development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Evolve, and Camtasia. - Use an LMS (Learning Management System). - Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-evolving environment that requires juggling multiple time-sensitive projects. - Embody core values: #behumble, #startwiththecustomer, #growthmindset, #strivetogether. - Bonus: Experience as a software developer or with content management systems.

- Bachelor's degree in a learning or technology-related field - 3+ years of experience in instructional design/learning experience design - Experience creating engaging, interactive learning courses with assets such as videos, graphics, and diagrams - Ability to find creative solutions to complex learning problems - Experience adapting and distilling complex, technical topics into digestible learning experiences - Proficiency in industry-standard learning development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Evolve, and Camtasia - Experience using an LMS (Learning Management System) - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage large projects with tight deadlines - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-evolving environment - Lifelong learner with a passion for teaching others - Familiarity with content management systems is a bonus - Strong communication skills, both visual and verbal - Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts - Analytical skills to measure and analyze the impact of learning materials - Familiarity with operational excellence, scalability, efficiency, and learning effectiveness - Alignment with company core values: #behumble, #startwiththecustomer, #growthmindset, #strivetogether
