About The Position

The Trainer I facilitates instructor-led and virtual learning experiences that support employee onboarding, foundational job readiness, and operational effectiveness. The position delivers established training programs, assesses learner understanding, and supports employees as they develop the knowledge and skills needed to perform their roles.

The Trainer I introduces learning curriculum to new and existing employees and delivers training focused on onboarding, systems, products, services, compliance, and member service expectations. The role maintains learner records and training resources, provides feedback on participant progress and engagement, and collaborates with subject matter experts to keep training content accurate and relevant. The Trainer I also maintains current working knowledge of RBFCU policies, procedures, products, services, and intranet information. Travel is required as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Financial institution experience and/or a background in education, training, or a related field.
• Basic classroom presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply new content quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Adult Learning, Training and Development, or a Human Resources-related field.

Responsibilities

• Introduce learning curriculum to new and existing employees.
• Deliver instructor-led and virtual training programs on onboarding, systems, products, services, compliance, and member service expectations.
• Provide instruction, answer questions, reinforce key concepts, and evaluate participant understanding.
• Maintain learner records and training resources.
• Provide feedback regarding participant progress and engagement.
• Participate in department projects and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content remains accurate and relevant.
• Maintain current working knowledge of RBFCU policies, procedures, products, services, and information contained on the intranet.
• Travel as required.
