The Technical Learning & Development Partner is responsible for translating organizational learning strategy into impactful programs and initiatives that build employee capability, strengthen performance, and support business objectives. This role partners closely with the Director of Learning & Development, the Sr L&D Partner, business leaders, Human Resources, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs, prioritize development opportunities, and deliver solutions that drive measurable business results. The ideal industry profile would be someone who was in the electrical, manufacturing, or construction field before moving over to facilitate technical training. The L&D Partner – Technical Training leads the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs for technical, operational, and job-specific skill development across areas such as construction, production, field services, systems/process training, hands-on readiness, and SME-led technical instruction. This role provides consultation to leaders and stakeholders on learning solutions, performance improvement strategies, and workforce development initiatives, ensuring alignment between enterprise learning priorities and operational needs. In addition, the L&D Partner – Technical Training provides leadership, guidance, and oversight to the L&D Specialist who support the technical and operational learning for construction, production, field services, and related job-specific skill areas and ensures the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of learning content, instructional design, training delivery, and program execution.
