About The Position
A Structural Fitting Leaderman directs their workforce in the successful fitting and outfitting of all components of assigned vessels. The position requires familiarity with standard marine practices and general construction specifications, along with organization and directly applicable experience in resource planning and scheduling. The Leaderman must communicate effectively and work well with other supervisors, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, production, safety, and environmental aspects of the work.
Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of craft-specific experience performing structural fitting functions.
- Ability to interpret standard construction drawings, specifications, and other technical guidance documentation.
- Knowledge of structural fitting-specific processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with standard marine practices and general construction specifications.
- Effective communication and ability to work well with other supervisors.
- Experience in resource planning and scheduling.
