About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring an experienced Lead Window & Door Installer in Baltimore, Maryland. The installer leads residential window and door replacement projects from start to finish, including removing existing units, preparing openings, and installing replacement windows and doors to company specifications and quality standards. The role includes related carpentry, trim, flashing, insulation, sealing, and finishing work, as well as resolving jobsite challenges and maintaining a clean, respectful worksite.

Installers load trucks and materials at the warehouse, travel to customers’ homes, communicate professionally with homeowners, complete required paperwork and project closeout, and return to the warehouse at the end of the day. The position offers year-round work, paid training, and opportunities to advance. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 6:30 AM start. Pay is $23–$28 per hour based on experience and skill, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular rate, and Saturdays are paid at double time.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in window installation, door installation, carpentry, remodeling, construction, or residential installation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid smartphone or smart device for required company systems and two-factor authentication.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
• Ability to accurately measure openings and work from installation specifications.
• Experience working with hand and power tools and performing demolition and residential remodeling.
• Ability to install and finish windows and doors, including carpentry, trim, insulation, sealing, and related finish work.
• Ability to solve problems when existing conditions do not match the plan.
• Professional communication with homeowners and pride in the quality of finished work.

Responsibilities

• Lead window and door installation projects from start to finish.
• Load the truck and materials at the warehouse before traveling to the jobsite.
• Arrive at customers’ homes on time and represent West Shore Home professionally.
• Safely remove existing windows and doors while protecting the customer’s home.
• Prepare openings for new window and door installations.
• Install replacement windows and doors according to company specifications and quality standards.
• Complete carpentry, trim, flashing, insulation, sealing, and finishing work.
• Ensure installations are sealed, weather-tight, level, square, and secure.
• Identify and solve jobsite challenges when existing conditions differ from the plan.
• Keep the jobsite clean and treat the customer’s home with respect.
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout the installation.
• Complete required paperwork and project closeout.
• Return to the warehouse at the end of the day.
