About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring an experienced Lead Window & Door Installer in Boston, Massachusetts. The installer leads residential replacement window and door projects from start to finish, including removing existing products, preparing openings, completing related carpentry and finish work, and installing replacements to company specifications and quality standards. The role involves working at customers’ homes, representing the company professionally, communicating with homeowners, resolving jobsite challenges, and completing project paperwork and closeout. Compensation is $27–$33 per hour based on experience and skill level, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments. Requirements

Previous hands-on experience in window installation, door installation, carpentry, remodeling, construction, or residential installation.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
A valid smartphone or smart device for required company systems and two-factor authentication.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
Ability to accurately measure openings and work from installation specifications.
Comfort working with hand and power tools.
Experience or ability in demolition and residential remodeling, installing and finishing windows and doors, and completing carpentry, trim, insulation, sealing, and related finish work.
Ability to solve problems when existing conditions do not match the plan.
Professional communication with homeowners and pride in the quality of finished work.

Responsibilities

Lead window and door installation projects from start to finish.
Load the truck and materials at the warehouse before traveling to the jobsite.
Arrive at customers’ homes on time and represent West Shore Home professionally.
Safely remove existing windows and doors while protecting the customer’s home.
Prepare openings for new window and door installations.
Install replacement windows and doors according to company specifications and quality standards.
Complete carpentry, trim, flashing, insulation, sealing, and finishing work as needed.
Ensure installations are sealed, weather-tight, level, square, and secure.
Identify and resolve jobsite challenges when existing conditions differ from the plan.
Keep the jobsite clean and treat customers’ homes with respect.
Communicate professionally with customers throughout the installation.
Complete required paperwork and project closeout.
Return to the warehouse at the end of the day.
