Lead Veterinarian - Primary Care (Sign-on Bonus!)
About The Position
Pieper Veterinary Stratford is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join its primary care team in Stratford, Connecticut. The role combines clinical care with mentoring and supporting team members. The hospital provides wellness and same-day sick appointments and works collaboratively with specialists across the Pieper Veterinary network, including oncology, radiology, and cardiology services. The stand-alone hospital includes seven exam rooms, a dedicated cat room, an expansive treatment room with a doctor’s suite, surgical and dental suites, a dedicated oncology room, an ultrasound room, and an in-house laboratory. The team includes veterinary technicians, assistants, and management support. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.
Requirements
- Experienced veterinarian.
- Passion for primary care.
- Ability to provide clinical care and support or mentor team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary veterinary care, including wellness and same-day sick appointments.
- Mentor and support team members as needed.
- Collaborate with veterinary specialists and other professionals across the network.
