Veterinarian (Sign-on Bonus!)
About The Position
Pieper Veterinary Stratford is seeking an additional veterinarian to join its primary-care team in Stratford, Connecticut. The hospital opened in October 2023 and provides wellness and same-day sick appointments. Its services also include oncology with a board-certified oncologist, plus onsite ultrasound services from radiologists and cardiologists in the network. The role offers the opportunity to practice primary care alongside a collaborative network of specialists and doctors. The stand-alone hospital has seven exam rooms, including a dedicated cat room; an expansive treatment room; a doctor’s suite within treatment; surgical and dental suites; a dedicated oncology room; an ultrasound room; and an in-house laboratory. The veterinarian will have the autonomy to practice medicine their way and will work with another doctor on their shift, supported by veterinary technicians and assistants. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary veterinary care, including wellness and same-day sick appointments.
- Collaborate with other doctors and specialists across the veterinary network.
- Maintain medical records as part of the clinical workflow.
