About The Position

Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center is seeking a residency-trained or board-certified veterinary cardiologist to join its hybrid ER/Specialty/Primary Care hospital in Middletown, Connecticut. The role offers the opportunity to help expand veterinary specialty services within a collaborative team experienced in growing specialty practices. Doctors are supported by dedicated technicians, assistants, and department-specific client liaisons, and the hospital emphasizes a doctor-led, medicine-first approach.

The state-of-the-art facility includes multiple ultrasounds, wireless Fukuda Denshi telemetry, a 64-slice CT, 1.5 T MRI, a C-Arm with neurovascular platform, a Maquet Servo-U ventilator with NAVA, and volumetric capnography. An Antech reference laboratory and an on-site clinical pathologist are also available. Other specialty departments include Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Avian/Exotics, Emergency & Critical Care, and Oncology.

Pieper Veterinary is veterinarian-owned and operated, and offers equity options to its veterinarians. Its Connecticut hospital family includes five primary care hospitals and one urgent care hospital, with partner hospitals in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Maine.
