About The Position
Join a HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher supporting children from infancy through preschool. The center aims to make early education joyful, engaging, and fun, helping children learn, play, and grow. Its curriculum focuses on six ages and stages of early childhood development and uses hands-on learning activities to encourage children to explore and solve problems at their own pace. Teachers use a cast of characters to make learning engaging through exploration and imagination. This franchise is independently owned and operated; applications go directly to the franchisee, which makes all hiring decisions.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher in a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms where children can explore and learn.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
