About The Position
Chesterbrook Academy Preschool is seeking an energetic and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher to join its early childhood education team. The program aims to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support each child’s development through discovery and play. In this role, the teacher creates a safe, engaging classroom where toddlers can explore while building independence and essential early learning skills.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
- A minimum of an AA in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
- A passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills each day.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Foster a warm, consistent classroom routine that helps toddlers feel secure and confident.
- Build positive partnerships with families through open, ongoing communication.
- Work collaboratively with co-teachers and school leaders to ensure an exceptional learning experience.
