About The Position

The Lead Teller works within Branch Delivery, which is responsible for providing high-quality, consistent client experiences across branch locations while maintaining operational excellence and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The role conducts credit and debit transactions according to established procedures, maintains appropriate cash supplies, prepares daily proof records, and provides excellent service to bank customers. The Lead Teller may process night deposits and ATM transactions, and may refer customers to other bank staff for product sales or problem resolution. The position requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools, work under limited supervision in routine situations, and analysis of non-routine problems. It also includes assisting and training lower-level employees. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Typically requires 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• May require vocational or technical training.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit and debit transactions in compliance with established bank policies and procedures.
• Maintain an appropriate cash supply and prepare daily proof records while maintaining an acceptable difference record.
• Process night deposits and ATM transactions, as applicable.
• Deliver excellent service to bank customers.
• Refer customers to other bank staff for product sales or problem resolution, as appropriate.
• Assist and train lower-level employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
