About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom. The Lead Teacher leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position is with the Children's Courtyard of Raeford, part of Learning Care Group, Inc. The company provides early childhood education and childcare programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, using a research-based curriculum in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
