About The Position

Childtime at Executive Woods is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow teachers and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and participate in physical activity with children.
• CDA, or higher, or 9 Early Childhood Credits while working toward a CDA or degree.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain expertise in and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote each child’s achievement and support the center’s success.
