About The Position

This is a child care role focused on helping children learn and grow in a fun, interactive classroom. The Assistant Teacher provides daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards, maintains a clean and organized classroom, engages with children, observes and assesses their development, plans for their needs, communicates with families, and completes training on childcare, preschool, and child development.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Effectively communicate with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
