About The Position

Learning Care Group is hiring a Lead Teacher at Childtime at Executive Woods to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting preschool children’s development, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow Teachers and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

The position offers hourly pay of $18.52–$19.23, with bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; compensation depends on position, education, and experience. The work week is Monday through Friday. Full-time employees receive immediate medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match. Part-time employees are offered limited medical coverage. Education assistance, including tuition reimbursement and certification, is available to all employees.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• CDA, or higher, or 9 Early Childhood Credits while working toward a CDA or degree.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain expertise in and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
