About The Position

This is a Lead Teacher position at Gilden Woods Haslett. The role focuses on inspiring children to become lifelong learners through engaging learning experiences and care that promotes preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth. The Lead Teacher leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, mentors fellow Teachers, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
