About The Position

LaPetite Academy of Monona is hiring a Lead Teacher to support children’s learning and development in a child care center. The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
