About The Position
La Petite Academy of Glen Allen is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating fun, interactive learning experiences and mentoring fellow Teachers; promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children; leading classroom management and curriculum implementation; maintaining expertise in licensing guidelines and company standards; and building sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position pays $17.39–$19.33 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
