About The Position
La Petite Academy of Verona is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, promoting preschool children's social, physical, and intellectual growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and maintaining knowledge of licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success, while mentoring fellow Teachers.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center's requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
Responsibilities
- Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
