About The Position

The Lead Teacher inspires children to become lifelong learners by creating interactive learning experiences and promoting preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, mentors fellow Teachers, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
