About The Position

La Petite Academy of Powell is hiring a Lead Teacher to support children’s learning and development in a child care center. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, mentoring fellow teachers, and promoting preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth. The Lead Teacher leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
